FREE TOURNAMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

WELCOME PLAYERS .... THIS IS THE "FREE INTRO TO TOURNEY PLAY" TOURNAMENT

AT THIS TIME I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR SOUND ON IN CASE WE NEED TO SEND YOU AN ALERT IN ORDER TO GET YOUR ATTENTION.

THOSE OF US WITH (TD) BEHIND OUR NAMES ARE THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS.  WE ARE HERE TO MAKE SURE THIS TRAINING TOURNEY RUNS SMOOTHLY.  IF ONE COMES TO YOUR TABLE, IT MOST LIKELY IS TO HELP YOU SET THE TABLE CORRECTLY 

TODAY, WE WILL ASSIST YOU IN THE BASICS OF TOURNEY PLAY, WE WILL GO OVER THE RULES AND THE CORRECT TABLE SET UP FOR TOURNEYS.

YOU COULD PLAY SEVERAL GAMES WITH DIFFERENT PLAYERS, BUT ALL GAMES ARE ASSIGNED BY ME.

AGAIN **** DO NOT *** SET A TABLE OR JUMP ON A TABLE UNTIL AFTER THE PAIRS ARE MADE AND ONLY AFTER WE HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT THE TOURNEY IS READY TO START.

GENERAL RULES FOR REGULAR DOMINO TOURNAMENTS:

ALL TOURNEYS HAVE A 3 min per round wait missing in action.  You must notify me asap when opp goes mia and when they return as this starts and stops the clock.  PLEASE NOTE … IF THE TIMER POPS UP FOR A MISSING PONE – YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE WIN – ONLY I CAN ADVANCE A PLAYER ON TIME – YOU MUST NOTIFY ME ASAP IF A PLAYER GOES MIA.  YOU WILL BE DQ’D FROM TOURNEY FOR TAKING A WIN PRIOR TO THE ALLOWED 3 MINS MIA TIME.

WATCHING tables, TABLE HOPPING, or PRIVATE MESSAGES to other tables will result in disqualification.

ALL TABLES MUST BE CLOSED AFTER EACH MATCH, AS A new TABLE must be set after each match.

Unnecessary delay of a match WILL result in disqualification.   It will be left up to the TD and the Admin to determine if this is the case in a particular match. Abuse of td or players is not acceptable and will result in a DQ.

WE SET NEW TABLES AFTER EACH MATCH SO PLEASE CLOSE YOUR TABLE UPON COMPLETION.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF WHO YOUR OPPONENT IS IN CASE THE WRONG PLAYER JUMPS ON YOUR TABLE.  IF THIS HAPPENS, DO NOT HIT START, RATHER JUST CLOSE THE TABLE AND RESET A NEW ONE.
